As you may be knowing DevaNagari is the script used for writing Hindi and many other South Asian languages.

We are confident that you will like our Unicode based OpenType font - 'Akhil HE'. It is the best font for reading DevaNagari on computer's screen. It can be used in any Windows Application that can handle complex scripts.

Following are some of the advantages of using 'Akhil HE' -

#	Same font file has DevaNagari Akṣhars & Matras (क, ख, ग, घ, ...) and Roman alphabets (a, b, c, ...). The characters of DevaNagari and Roman are synchronised to look great together.
#	Renders Simple DevaNagari (Saral Nagari) text. Even primary school students of Hindi, Marathi or Nepali can read text displayed (with our fonts) without difficulty.
#	Difficult to read conjuncts (joḍakṣhars) are not formed automatically.
#	Unnecessary conjuncts (mostly Below-Base forms) except very common ones are not formed automatically.

Hindi Keyboard Layouts and Software

If you are using Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10 - you can type DevaNagari using the default INSCRIPT keyboard layout. But INSCRIPT is a difficult layout to learn. So, we provide two other keyboard layouts. One of these layout is SuNāgarī; our humble attempt to make an efficient and simple keyboard layout. Another layout is based on old 'Hindi Typewriter' and is only useful to those who have used mechanical typewriters extensively.

Our font/s and keyboard software works well with LibreOffice in Windows; far better than the default font/s.
